Saving...
You belong to me as you do to God's great Out-of-doors you make my own way of saying the thing seem superficial, my effort to say it fruitless. But you understand -- that is the big thing. Whether I can tell you the depth of the love I have for you or not you know it is there -- forever. Like you I suffer from realization of inability to remove the barrier to happiness that our physical separation is. It takes more courage not to be depressed by my very powerlessness in this respect than it does to face any hardship or danger in fulfilling duty. Yet the cruelty of such a separation is far more kind than any fate could have been that had allowed me to come without the fullness of your love. It is the biggest and best thing that life holds for me. And now I can't write about anything else. Nothing else matters.
