It was when she left for Washington. My! I hated to tell her goodby. I was afraid she would act differently when she got back. You know I never did care much for any body after they married. They never seemed the same. But she does. Bless her heart. She is the bravest little soldier that ever lived. She is too proud to let any one know how she suffers. Just the same we that know her - Feel it.
