6829 P/w ADM CO APO-513 NY, NY France June 28, 1945 Dearest, Two of your letters came today they came over here in 8 days which is very good I am still in Epinal, none of the boys have went home on points since I been here, the 4 of us over 40 haven't heard anything either I think it will be some time before they send us home we seem to have a low priority I was on a 3 day vacation out to the lake our company has a nice set up out there it is a lake formed by a dam I didnt do a thing for three days it was good after being working so steady The last two days in Germany I drove over 500 miles It is a chilly rainy evening it has been that way all day
