France July 5, 1945 Dearest, Today was a warm day for a change it has been cold and rainy I am enclosing another picture taken in Germany I am driving a water truck now, received several of your letters in the last few days. None of our boys have went home on points yet, we havent heard anything of our application for over 40 yet I think I have 82 points there is still some doubt about one battle star Irene P. sure has a bad time of it, I will try
