U.S. Army Fort George G. Meade, M.D. [11-9-42] Sun morn. Dearest:- Sunday morning again got up about 8:00 didn't eat any breakfast. is wasn't fit did some washing shaved & cleaned up got a sunday paper was a good one lots of funnies & news. I see Iowa beat Wisconsin in football that was good we would probly been there if I was home. quite a lot of war news this morning in the papers and on the radio hope it keep on with no setbacks I was thinking this morning how nice it would be to be home with you this sunday morning to enjoy the things we do I eat some cheese this morn sure is good seems to get some quality things to eat. I would like to get out of this company I think it is the worst one in camp Hope our stay here won't last long. Hahn come over last nite we had quite a talk he is having trouble with his transfer he sure is mad at about everything but his girl friend, his brother is in
