Fort George G. Meade, M.D. [11-10-42] Mon eve Dearest:- We had tests on guns today I made 2nd class gunner I missed making 1st class by 1/2 of a degree which is a small amount. Too much to explain it to you. Bunce didn't even qualify he is afraid he will be put in some other company if he is I will be left alone he is afraid we will be split up. About your comming here I am unable to tell you anything, I don't know anything about the guest house but I will try to find out. I think the best way would be for you to go to Baltimore and try to find a place to stay then come to camp Friday eve or Sat morn then we could go back to Baltimore Sat afternoon if I can get away This is such a no good place we wouldn't want to stay here at all Traffic is heavy on a week end but some of the boys went to Baltimore yesterday Weather has been very good here not cold at all now
