U.S. Army Fort George G. Meade, MD. Nov. 11, 42 Dearest. I missed writing last nite we were busy checking & etc. mostly red tape like the most of the things that go on around here. I got thru 15 minutes before the lights went out tonite things were pretty quiet. Bunce went to a show, but I stayed home to write to the best person in the whole world according to my thinking If you come next week go to the 385th service Club and I will come over Fri eve to see if you are there the guest house is near by I will look there too. If I cant come Fri I will come sat afternoon, I will try to get a pass to Baltimore for sat nite & sunday that is a lot to hope for in this outfit they may be mean enough to not let me off don't depend on it too much It wont be as nice as Croft at the best this is a no good outfit. Our time will be short. We don't have to work so hard but I don't like the suroundings I know we
