Dearest: - Another day went by pretty easy  it was just routine work
I got a letter today that you wrote on tues nite the nite I left here the other fellow that went home when I did got in today  he had to come all the way back on the train  I was lucky  I am also lucky to have a helpful wife to think about and make army life better
I hear talk about a 3 hour nite problem tomorrow nite  I may not be able to write  the weather is mild good outdoor weather
There isn't much to write about tonite every one is sending laundry  that is more trouble than washing your own stuff.
I am spending my time writing to my sweetheart which is the best I can do at the present time  Got a Xmas card from Mrs. Churchill  it was very good considering some things she does
This is a short letter but I still love my war war a great lot  Love
