Dearest.  I'm up on my perch again writing to you  my perch is an empty top bed next to mine  I put my comforter on the spring and roll up the mattress for a back rest warm air spout is in front on a light overhead.  makes a good place to loaf and write to my honey
It is a very quiet day around here today cold in the barrack as usual
Got a sunday paper this morning and had two magazines read most of the day.  Real dark outside little foggy looks like storm again
Talked to another fellow who is over 38 years old he is a farmer he is going to try to get out too hope we can make it  I want to be home with my honey
Had four Christmas cards in the mail today one was from you makes about 5 days since I got a letter
Hope you get over your sick spell all right so far I havn't got
