April 1, 1943 Dearest, I got around to write again we are in North Africa yet I was on K.P. today. I am still in good health feel good all the time. I don't write much you are the only one I may be able to write more often some time later The country is nice around here now. I am seperated entirely from my old outfit The days are warm and the nights are cool I have most all a person need am getting along very well I imagine winter is about over at home now. I have made friends with a lot of new men one did the same work I did at home we can talk the same language You can tell the folks concerned, because I won't be writing to anyone right away it is getting dark so I will have to stop writing. I don't get any mail at all, maybe some day it will all catch up with me Love Lloyd
