[illegible] c/o Postmaster [illegible] AUG. 2. 1943 Dearest, - am still in a hospital getting along pretty well I think Having plenty to eat and getting a lot of rest. Sure is hot here during the day. There is going to be a [nome?] here tonight. Am [illegible] from all my old buddies [illegible] have to make new ones as I [illegible] Going to move soon again so dont write till I send an address Hope things are going along all right at home I have a little trouble eating with some teeth gone but not too bad Love Lloyd
