North Africa Sun. Oct 17. 1943 Dearest. Sunday again and time for my weekly letter got 3 letters to this address this week Yours mailed Sept 30, Jacks mailed Oct 1 Georges Oct 2. they came thru fast. I dont have to work this fore noon I getting along good I'm still driving truck like it very well here. Most of the boys in our tent are getting ready to go on pass to town I dont care much about going Im going to work this afternoon There is nothing I need I have about all the necessary things needed. we get the Stars & Stripes to keep in touch with the news.
