Sun. Night Dec. 19 [1943] Dearest: - This being sunday night I think I should write a few lines to let you know I am still getting along good am still driving a truck. I am writing this in our new club room it is nice here about the best thing I have had since being in the service I got a box of candy from Jordan & Irene the other day I get a few letters once in a while I know I dont get half the ones you write but what I do get are good I is getting hear Christmas time but it dont seem like Christmas ones here maybe next year I will be home
