to notice much about their road system. I never saw so many trucks and trucks loads of coal as are buzzing around here. The mines would bear a little exploring too. Maybe we can do some of that some time. We have always been good at prowling about places of local interest, and we always saw interesting things. One store here has a window display of arrowheads. I don't know whether it is local stuff or an imported exhibit. Sunday Now I have moved from the Hotel to 305 West Washington. I have a temporary room with the landlady. November 1 I am to get the apartment upstairs that will be vacated. A very great improvement over the hotel room. And the apartment is very nice. I would just as soon have a smaller one but choice is naturally limited in a small town so I guess I am lucky. The landlady is Mrs. C G Belles. A radio European broadcast is just coming in.
