2 and I recovered pretty well. We are still meeting officers and people I am supposed to know. Have now met all of the Board of Supervisors - 3 farmers. I believe we will be able to talk the same language. Honest to Pete, some of the jams kids in this county are in certainly are bad. Of course there is so much poverty here and standards of living are low. The Missouri influence is certainly felt, poor white trash sort. Just so I don't get any night calls as probation officer to sober up sweet sixteen some time at 1 o'clock in the morning! There seems to be no big middle class here; people are either poor or very well to do.
