305 West Washington Centerville, Iowa October 31, 1941 Dearest, It is just a couple minutes after nine o'clock so I suppose George is just getting your bowling line-up written down. I just finished getting your bowling record up to date. I'll continue the book when you have some more scores for me. I've already written a ten page (counting both sides) letter to Sue this evening. The radio is giving the drama of Wiley Post. They have just given the part where he ended his round-the-world flight at Roosevelt field. You would enjoy this program. I could not even try to get the Bohemia program this week, as I was at the Business Womens dinner. A man and his wife from Centerville made a trip to Alaska and showed color movies they took. They had some good shots of clouds and ice with nice lighting effects. They also had nice scenery shots but not as unusual. I don't care about such clubs, but I have to learn the people if I represent the State dept.
