Saving...
2 One of the bowling alleys I saw here they tell me is only for duck pins, but there is supposed to be one regular ten pin alley that is in OK shape. We will see. Maybe I'll go with the girls some time before you come. One of them is talking about it, but we have not set any definite time yet. I'm afraid the Director is going to be just as much of a pain as I thought he was going to be. That is part of the job, so can't beef too long or too loudly but I can tell you. That pretty boys are a pain is almost an axiom, I do believe! Carl did make it back to the States in plenty of time for pheasant season then. Your pessimistic views were nicely wrong. If you all get to go hunting this year I know you'll enjoy it. Hope nothing upsets those plans. I had such a good time last weekend. Your mother and you always make me feel so at home. And I was glad the baby came over. Rosie always seems the same and so pleasant. No moody spells or bad temper, or hangovers. George is lucky. And I believe he appreciates her.
