Saving...
that if it does get cold it should not freeze. He thinks when it is all fixed and filled to the level again I'll need a quart more of prestone. (So bring some with you?) He doesn't know whether that new part can be brought here. He'll see tomorrow if Sieg's have it. Chev doesn't and he couldn't think of anyone who would but Sieg's. He thinks it would cost at least $2.00 but never bought one so he doesn't know. My trouble is he can't shut it off and to save radiator freezing even though I had to go without a heater. And I'm not sure he can get the part. So, I'm sending this special delivery and you should get it by the time you are home from work Thursday. You consider the matter and write me special delivery Thurs. night and I'll get it Friday. Do you think it a good plan to wait til you come Sat, bringing the part if possible? (I'll manage my job without my car) If not, can you tell me, so I can tell him, how to shut it off so I can run OK without a heater? I'll want your answer and not deal here even if a part can be located until your letter comes. Then if you say you aren't bringing the part, I'll deal with him even if he has to order it I should be able to have them order and [written up side of page] install it by Mon so when I'd really need to drive more than this week. (I didn't discover this ailment until after I had mailed my first letter tonight) Laura
