suspicious of everyone that when a hundred percent square fellow comes along one scarcely can let oneself trust him. Of course she had other worries of ill health of her mother, financial worries, the differences in her national ^(Syrian)^culture at home and their church with her public acceptance of Methodist church and liberal American ways. I think I told you she had neither the education or experience for the supervisory position she was trying to fill here and so about everything was too much for her to handle. And a good boy friend could have helped her over a lot of those humps and a no account one just made all the other humps a little bigger. We are getting the benefits of a good friendship making
