Saving...
the night trip back, but I had no delays and did not get sleepy so it was better I was alone this time. (I just started another snowstorm. The first one settled down too quick!) How is your mother getting on? Is "John" satisfied with her progress? Will this operation do the job or is other treatment or surgery expected? A clinical report seems to be what I want! But you know I'm interested. I went down to Dr Parker again today to have a paint job done. The first since Dr [Noe?] saw me. Last night I had a sore throat a little and still did this morning. The inside isn't so sore but I can notice the neck glands. So, in an effort to profit from my last spell, I went right away instead of waiting two weeks. I'm [inserted above with a carrot) to go again tomorrow. But so far my condition doesn't indicate I'll get at all like I was last time. It is good that my voice was OK for the oral exams. Since I have to put the car away, I'll run over to the Hotel to mail this. When I get a letter written, I really should get it into the mail. You may have it before Sunday. Write when you can. Love Laura
