Last night I fixed up your bowling book. The averages took some slump a couple weeks ago, but then were better than Sept. You've gained back to the ^highest^ average you did have this fall. I'm glad you beat the Schillig outfit. That drunken bunch is a pain, but they do roll up good scores. They must have been in bad shape last Friday night. The exam results came today. I got a grade of 86+ and the rank of fourth. So now all I have to do is tend to my job to stay on the payroll. Slipping from my rank of first in August, but there was keener competition in this one and I did not study as well beforehand as I did in August. I'll have to get at the job of November reports for the Des Moines office. The October one never was made exactly right; time will tell whether I'll ever be able to get November any better. You can imagine my struggle with these when you are trying to guess what the men should have put down on the cards for your reports. I looked over a chart giving
