Tues nite Jul 29 1942 Dearest:- Another two days and nothing new happened. We had gas drill yesterday we have gas masks & go in a room filled with gas sure is bad stuff they let you get a little of it so you will know it when you run into it Today we had rifle drill It was pretty hot till two oclock then a heavy rain
