Camp Croft Sept 28 1942 Dearest:- Sat. nite we just got back from a show had a good time It is raining steadly it is also foggy a dreary nite Most of the boys have gone to town or to some other place most of them won't be back till tomorrow nite. The three boy I went to the show are writing letters so I will too If our plans go alrite I won't be in camp next Saturday nite we will be some where living and enjoying things we regard as the most important things we know, it will be great. I could write to a lot of other folks but I would rather write to my girl friend it seems strange to call you that, but I think of you that way as a friend and pal I think of you more that way and am glad you are my wife. When I think of you my heart beats a little faster. These young fellows don't know
