Saving...
seriously considered going back to work tonight but may not now. It isn't inviting enough out after I've been in our comfortable house. So if I'll not be down town, then I'll hurry to mail this for the 6:45 collection. There is plenty of left over food from last night for a good supper. I'm heating it up now. Busy at the office today but in no bad pains. I just have so much stacked up waiting that it seems almost impossible or unbelievable when one total case loads are not as great as they were. The only way to beat them is just keep plugging along. I'm sorry you still have no satisfaction on the necessary information. Maybe you have by now. Even if it is "no" you'd rather have the decision than the uncertainty. I hope it will work out that you can be home, even if you had to work some where else just so I could go along. It seems like I never could be happy if anything after the army kept you away from me. If it was anything but the army we could figure out some way I could manage to follow even if I didn't have the easiest or nicest living conditions. No plan like Rose's for me, you farming and me in town in comfort, for example. When we married we agreed and wanted to share our lots. Time to mail this. To the best of husbands, love from his wife. Nothing could I ask for more than a good man who loves and trusts me. You have made me happy, laddie and we've just started on a long way together. Love, Laura
