figured out if I can ever make the trip. Traveling by arm chair is better than none at all; we covered 960 miles that way and in only an hour or so. Mother talked to Rulas today. They are in a stew over Aunt Annie at Lucerne. They visited there yesterday. Her boy wants to join the navy and not farm. The farm is poor and she feels it is associated only with griefs in her memory so she wants to be somewhere else. Rulas offered her a home but Mother thinks she would probably work somewhere.
