Saving...
Dearest, Another long day - I don't mean dragged out when I say long, I mean over crowded with a lot of things. Went to Walker this afternoon on a medical case and one in which the client thinks she personally has a corner on all the trouble of the world. __ stuff in Walker __ out a little and tore back to town only to find two more people wanting for me there. __ the day of office work and went to the Commonwealth to be made beautiful. That was a MAJOR job! Ate supper at home and then went after Emily. We attended Holy Thursdays services at Wester__. When we got back to __, Ray showed me letters from Carl. I forgot to say that before lunch Ray called for your address. Carl thinks he has maybe succeeded in arranging a transfer for you to duty as a rock crusher man. The company and the army can't get the assembly and __ of some units in Africa into the desired shape. So Carl told some __ man you were overseer and could do what was needed if they would transfer you. Now that kind of friendly help I'm all in favor of, because it is a job needed to be done better than it is and you have the knowledge to do it. So the government's and your interests would be favored if a transfer ever can be made. Love to my laddie. Your wife, Laura
