Saving...
Dearest, Office hours at Center Point today. No one there so I went on to northwest of Walker. After some little delay and a visit with __ Closson about the patient I finally got him packed up to go to the county farm. That was some little jaunt for these days of restricted driving. It is the first time I've been on the Central City paving. The gravel from the Point to City was full of __. And the grade seems to be very shallow now. Four years ago when I first went up to that district I remember how high that grade seemed, but you said it wasn't. If it had been higher it would be in better shape now than it is. It was a perfect spring day except the wind was pretty strong. The sky was beautiful and had some tiny clouds. I'm sleepy tonight and want to go to bed early. I have a new system. I move the radio in to the vanity table, tune in music and when I get a bit drowsy, reach out and turn it off. Then I'm already in bed. I used to wait for some program on the davenport then be all awake before I got to bed. Love, Laura.
