The Colonial Dames of America In the State of Iowa Mrs. G. W. French making many very dear friends - and ever since you became a member, I have hoped I might find you at some of our annual meetings, and have the pleasure of knowing you. The society has been very fortunate this past two years in having so few members resign, and still fewer dropped for nonpayment of dues, but I hate to lose anyone for any reason. May I express the wish for your speedy recovery - and my hope that we may meet some place - in the near future - even tho' we may not still be Iowa Dames - Very Truly yours Anna E. French Mrs George Watson French Davenport Iowa. Sept - 20th.
