Strawberry short-cake is made of the same mixture, split, butter pour the sugared berries between - serve with a little cream on each plate. Peaches & raspberries are also nice. No more wholesome dessert is is made than Popovers, Use 7 eggs, 2 cups milk, 2 cups flour, salt - bake in a moderate oven, in small earthenware cups, sold for the purpose. If large 3/4 hour will be required to bake them. They should rise to nice thin size & will scarely fall at all when used. The same sauce as for the peach pudding - except a cupful of new milk is beaten in just before going to table.
