Freida's Danish Cookies. 3 eggs, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1 cup molasses, 1 table spoon lard 1 teaspoon of each of ginger, cloves, alspice & cinnamon, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 well heaping teaspoons soda, dissolved in a water or cold coffee, 4 tablespoons vinegar, enough flour to make batter stiff enough to handle easily. Take a small ball in hands (either greased or floured) well round. pat in sugar in saucer, put on slide spacing well, bake.
