3 ninty day wonders or have you got some West Pointers? The later is much the easyest to soldier under. I called up your house a wk or so ago to find out when you had landed (that was when you was still in JB) & had a very nice talk with your mother I was kind of good. I ask for Lena & she said that I had the wrong number & ect. & of course I knew her voice & findly got to tell her who I was before she got a chance to hang up on me. But up to then she was so sure I had the wrong number. I findly got the hay baled & the oats in the bin as all it jas been able go is rain here up until last wk. I was just twenty five years & one month to the day that I left on the same damn train as you did. As I left on the eve of June the third 1917 & as I remember it it was a slow trip ans we didn't get to JB untill the next eve for examinator
