Will write in the eving or at home in the morn Geo Dear Lloyd: Tonite is bank nite. While I was waiting for George I saw this letter opened and some space left to drop a few lines. It is nice out this evening. Mother and I have been busy canning sweet corn today. We canned 14 quarts and intend to can 7 more tomorrow. Baby has been under the weather for the last few day. She had a bad cold and kept us up for several nites. Tony went to Fort Dodge yesterday moring so I imagine that he will be leaving for the army in 2 weeks. He doesn't say much but I don't think he cares much about going. But I don't blame him. George told me to leave some space for him so good by for now. Write when you have time.
