[page]56[/page] Lophosolea heterophylla, [Nus?]. is a small pale green species found growing on moist rich soil among mosses and on decayed logs. The stems are about one inch long, branching and ascending and cespilose. The leaves are sub-quadrate and variable in outline, spreading horizontally and slightly decurrent on the dorsal side of the stem. The margins are entire and bidentate on the same stem. PL.XIX. 2.
