[page]62.[/page] [[very faint writing]] This species grows densely cespitose on the rich soil of shady bluffs, where, on accounting of their steepness, the vegetation remains almost uninterrupted and is still in a primeval state. It grows along with the other forms already mentioned in beautiful dark green patches, its ascending branches being often over an inch in height. It is therefore the most conspicuous of the [Jungennianna?] already described.
