The operculum is conical, apiculate and [persistent?] The annulus is present, separating into fragments and falling off. The teeth of the peristome are double. The outer ones long linnear or lanceolate closely articulate below, lamellate inside.The inner teeth apparently free. Habitat. Found through out the Middle Southern and Western States. Usually on walls or rocks exposed to the south, common.
