29. Bartramia [menzicsii?]. Turn. The plant is quite large growing in dense clusters, somewhat cespitose. Upper portion a delicate green. Stems erect, branching once or twice, [radiolose?], [tomentose?] below. Leaves imbricate, half-open concave reflexed on the borders of the large ovate clasping base lanceolate, closely dentate at the apex, surface rough. The costa [precument?] and prominate. The flowers are terminal or lateral by [innervations?]. [Diacrinous?] Antheridia curved yellowish, with numerous minute jointed filas.
