All of the other series (10 in number) are reduced in exactly the same manner. The probable error of the mean of series 54 (γ Corvi) was approximately 24.00" which was greatly in excess of any of the other means hence this whole series was rejected. We next rule a blank (see the one immediately following the circum-meridian reduction of series 60(β Ursae Minoris) with the headings, - Date, No., Star, δ, (1/2) ∝', [r?]' = ([r?]/[([r?]u) or (square root of u)?]), [Bac?], [b or h?], T[subscript]e?[/subscript], A, B, C and C'.
