On the line below we print or write [ab]. In an exactly similar manner we find (ac), (an) and the other quanlities [quantities?] given in the formulae. The squares of the single letters, a[superscript]2[/superscript], b[superscript]2[/superscript], c[superscript]2[/superscript], n[superscript]2[/superscript], and s[superscript]2[/superscript] are invariably written [aa], [bb], [cc] [nn] and [ss]. In this work we have the following checks which are very useful in showing whether the numerical computation has been accurately performed. The [as] found by the formula (1/2){((a + s)[subscript]2[/subscript]) - a[subscript]2[/subscript] - s[subscript]2[/subscript]} should equal the sum of all the expressions containing (a) or [aa] + [ab] + [ac] + [an]. Similarly [bs] should equal all those containing (b) or [ub] + [bb] + [bc] + [bn] . [cs] should equal [ac] + [bc] + [cc] + [cn] The first check made is the [as] check. If the two [as]s as not check within reasonable limits first form the
