In this substitute the values of y and z and that of the angle ∝' for which you wish to know the eccentricity correction. The result will be in circular measure and must be multiplied by 206264.8" to give it gradual measure. By substituting for ∝' successively 10degrees, 20degrees, 30degrees, 40degrees etc. we will get different corrections for the eccentricity which should be tabulated. The correction for intermediate values of ∝' may be found by interpolation. The form of table is shown here.
