green, in certain lights blue or purple, with very minute distant punctures, a series of deep punctures with elevated centres near the suture, an abbreviated series of similar punctures near the humunal angle, and a few scattered ones around the scutel: external margin with three white spots, one of which near the middle of the margin is large, triangular, the apex of the triangle pointing to the suture; one very small and rounded between the former and the base of the elytron; and the third or posterior one elongated into an oblong oval not quite reaching the margin and confluent behind with the terminal lunule. Pectus and postpectus as well as thighs green, with white decumbent hairs. There is a great variation in this species, six different forms are given by Harris. They are as follows:- a.
