55 the water is drained off, and the entire deposit thus gained, together with he hulls which have remained in the cylinder sieve, are used for fodder, which thus produced is rich in azotic nutritious substances, fats, & mineral substances, & hence of great value as feed. The starch deposited int he gutters is not yet entirely free form azotic ingredients, - but already in this condition forms an excellent article for finishing textiles, since, it furnishes a good paste.
