Saving...
10-10-10 I believe the anser is obvious to most of us they are not. The majority of undocumented workers risk breaking man's law in order to obey the natural law of survival. The conditions of poverty which led my father and millions before and after him, , to come to this alien and foreign country to seek a better quality of life , still prevail south of the border. As long as the U.X. ignores the role it plays in creating the conditions which force the undocumented worker to seek entry into the U.X., we'll continue to have an immigration problem. Contrary to the INS's contention that the undocumented worker contributes to the unemployment rate of Hispanics in this country, it is my firm belief that discriminatory hiring practices is the major cause. Even the INS itself admits to having only 12% Hispanic e ployees out of the 8,000 total they employ. Of course they are an Equal Opportunity employer are are improving in hiring of Hispanics. But all of their efforts in deporting undocumented workers has not reduced the unemployment rate of Hispanics. American workers will not accept miserable jobs at substandard wages. -10-
