IMPRESSIONS Another time we had been drinking one night in a bar. I remember I was dancing with his sister and was trying to make some time with her. The next day he picked me up and as we were driving downtown he said, "Somebody almost killed you last night." Stunned I asked him who. His eyes were hard and unsmiling as he laughed that crazy laugh with no mirth in it. He said "Me!"
