136 August 5, 1918 Dearest Girl,- I wish some more letters would come from you. It is two days since I got any. I haven't answered all of them yet, but I want some more anyway. You'll never be able to write enough to satisfy me, honey. They bring you to me for a little while - such a little while though in comparison to the time I should have you if we were together. Surely nobody else in the world gets love-letters like mine - the letters I get from my wife. You tale of the kodaks is amusing. Hy certainly was a funny kind sometimes. I used to wonder if you really knew him. That was when most of what I heard of you came through him. I have
