it now. It was really white, over half of it was. Tonight we are going to the woods with our supper - the whole clan is to go, so it will be all as it should except that our soldier boy is not with us. I'm sending you a card from your "Ma Dorr". She found it in her desk a few days ago, and sent it on here. They plan to drive up here soon, so I'll get to meet them. I've almost given up the idea of visiting them, for a while at least, unless you really wish it, because I'm so anxious to become a bit settled myself and know what I'm going to do. I want to teach here privately, if I can, but I've not decided for sure yet. There is really not the slightest use to continue this letter because Julie is perched on the bed chatting
