If you could come to me, I shouldn't mind staying awhile during the interesting period just after peace comes; that is I think now I shouldn't; I might be so tired of France by then that I'd want to see America at the first moment possible. I know I shall not stay a minute more than I am forced to unless you come. This letter that I have been skimming through to comment on where necessary is certainly a heavenly gift. You can write love letters, I swear you can. And they are elixir to the passionate and devoted love of your hubby for you. I kiss you forever, dear. Conger. Conger Reynolds. 2nd Lt. A.G.D. PASSED AS CENSORED A. 37 A.E.F. (Stamp)
