OM 100-4095 ADMINISTRATIVE DATA EDNA told the mothers that this is a new day in America and women are equal to the men. MORFORD talked about his job and the job of the American Friends in Soviet Union and both EDNA and MORFORD tried to point out that Soviet mothers are no different in that they dislike war and want peace. [blank box] advised that MORFORD attempts to secure the names of one or two mothers where ever he can and then he sends the, packets of material telling things about the mothers in the Soviet Union. He also asks these mothers in the United States to hold meetings with other mothers who they know in their homes and tell them of the marvelous revelation they have found in these booklets from the American friends in the Soviet Union. Material is generally aimed at the home life and activities and Soviet youth.
