Regarding the publication "Vets Voice," P.O. Box 282, Forest Hills, NY, it is to be noted that the June 1952 issue furnished by [blank box] on 9/16/52 to SA [blank box] and located in NY 100-102130, serial 112, reflects that this monthly publication is the official organ of the American Veterans for Peace. This organization is located at 257 Seventh Avenue, NYC, and the purpose of the organization is the promoting of Veterans for Peace organizations all over the United States. This demanded the cease fire in Korea, removal of General MAC ARTHUR, criticism of the Veterans Administration, is against Negro discrimination, the McCarran and Smith Acts. b2 b7C b7D On 3/21/51 [blank box] Kew Gardens, N.Y. orally advised that on 2/17/50 the organizing meeting of the American Veterans for Peace was held in New York City. According to [blank box] the steering committee of this organization previously served as organizers of the new defunct left wing of the union of New York Veterans which was dissolved into the American Veterans for Peace. [blank box] Confidential Informant of this office should be covered by a T symbol and described as of unknown reliability. This information was furnished 3/21/51 to SA [blank box] and is located in New York file 100-97854-56. b7C The " Daily Worker," an East Coast Communist newspaper, frequently denotes space for the American Veterans for Peace activities which consists of propaganda concerning veterans matters. Regarding the Little Frame Shop, 192 West 4 Street, NYC, it is noted that the " National Guardian" on 12/26/51, page 6, volume 4, #10 contains an advertisement by the Little Frame Shop of 192 West 4 Street, NYC.
