OM 100-4095 CONNECTION WITH COMMUNIST PARTY OR OTHER REVOLUTIONARY GROUPS Confidential Informant [blank box] of known reliability advised that on May 19, 1952, Mr. and Mrs. STANLEY GRIFFIN, 1108 - 3rd Street, Des Moines, Iowa, were in correspondence with the San Cristobal Valley Raneh, San Cristobal, New Mexico. This same source also indicated that on May 28, 1952, the San Cristobal Valley Ranch was in correspondence with Mr. and Mrs. STANLEY GRIFFIN, 1108 - 3rd Street, Des Moines, Iowa. b2 b7C b7D Confidential Informant [blank box] of known reliability, advised that CRAIG STEPHEN VINCENT and [blank box] [blank box] the owners and operators of the San Cristobal Valley Ranch, San Cristobal, New Mexico, are members of the Communist Party. This same source indicated that the San Cristobal Valley Ranch is regarded as a haven and refuge for Communist Party members who seek rest and inspiration in connection with the Communist Party activities and the ranch is also considered to be a meeting place for policy making Communist Party groups because of its desirability from a Security standpoint. [blank box] advised that the subject attended the National Progressive Party Convention held in Chicago, Illinois, July 4 - 6, 1952.
