He advised Informant not to tell [blank box]  however, that he, OTTO, had sent him to [blank box] about a job.

On October 7, 1952, [blank box] was by the Informant's house and at the time told him he could not get him a job with the Union because [blank box] had associated him with EDNA GRIFFIN.

The week of October 17,1952. Informant was at the home of EDNA GRIFFIN and asked her where OTTO ANSTROM was. EDNA replied that she thought he wwas in the East someplace and did not know when he would be back. She also stated that she did not think the Unions were going to do anything about the [blank box] case. Informant also advised that EDNA GRIFFIN appeared very upset and agitated concerning [blank box] previously reported by the Informant as a Communist Party member from the West Coast, who had recently been making all kinds of inquiries as to how different activities were being conducted in the State of Iowa. The Informant has indicated in the past that EDNA GRIFFIN is very jealous as regards anybody else in the Party who appear to have an interest in the leadership and attempts to take over some of her functions.

According to the Informant, on Sunday, November 2, 1952, EDNA GRIFFIN and STANLEY GRIFFIN went to Nebraska to visit the [blank box] Informant later advised that he had thought there was going to be some kind of a Communist meeting there on [blank box] [blank box] but that from the way EDNA and STANLEY GRIFFIN talked when they returned, there had been no meeting and they had not even gotten to see [blank box]

Apparently there was some difficulty about EDNA and STANLEY GRIFFIN getting on the farm due to the dact that they are negroes. [blank box] [blank box]
